ZACH VEACH CONTINUES HIS SUMMER TOUR AT ROAD AMERICA
Veach Heads to Wisconsin for Time Warner Cable's Road Race Showcase in USF2000; Will Participate Friday in tourdeRoadAmerica to benefit The Lance Armstrong Foundation.

ELKHART LAKE, WI (August 17, 2011) – The heat of the summer continues this weekend as Andretti Autosport driver Zach Veach heads north to Road America for Time Warner Cable's Road Race Showcase. The sixteen-year-old makes a return visit to the facility looking to follow-up his third place finishes in 2010. Veach will also participate in the tourdeRoadAmerica "bike ride to fight cancer" Friday, which benefits the Lance Armstrong Foundation, Austin Hatcher Foundation for pediatric cancer and the Vince Lombardi Cancer clinic.

"Another one of the many things I learned last year was that Road America went down on my favorite tracks list," said Veach. "Out of the whole season, this is one of the tracks I have been looking forward to along with the ovals. The team and I had some bad luck at Mid-Ohio, but they worked extremely hard, I can't thank them enough and we're ready to come back strong at the four-mile track of Road America in the Zakosi Data Backup Mazda."

As a part of the "Mazda Road to Indy" program, Veach's 2011 season within the USF2000 National Championship Series has already been a significant success. Veach took two race wins and three pole positions to capture the inaugural Cooper Tires presents the USF2000 Winterfest Championship in early January and opened the season with a win from the pole position and sits third in championship series' points standings heading into Road America.

"With there being only four races left in the season, every single point will count," continued Veach. "It's going to be an exciting battle until the checkered flag flies in race two on the streets of Baltimore!"

The Time Warner Cable Road Race Showcase is run this Thursday, August 18, through Sunday, August 21. The weekend's events include several motorsports disciplines, as well as a number of exciting fan activities. Fans can enjoy a weekend of racing in addition to a drive-in movie, autograph sessions, and even public carting.

Road America is a 4.048-mile, 14-turn course carved out of 525 acres of Wisconsin farmland. Built in 1955, it was designed to be one of the world's finest and most challenging road courses. Though millions of dollars in improvements have been made over the years, the original configuration has never been changed. For more information on the Road America, visit www.roadamerica.com.

Sanctioned by INDYCAR, the USF2000 National Championship, presented by Cooper Racing Tires and powered by Mazda, is one of three series part of both INDYCAR's "Mazda Road to Indy" ladder system and the MAZDASPEED Motorsports Development driver program.
